Helping doctors make informed decisions in concussion recovery

Patients can present without certainty that a concussion has occurred, and as a doctor you're concerned about the serious danger of athletes sustaining a second injury before the first has resolved. Beyond recognition and rest, there is early management, Return to Learn and Return to Play progressions, and rehabilitation that is indicated for slow to recover, persistent, or chronic post-concussion symptoms. That is where we step in.

Concussions are complex injuries

The complexity of mild traumatic brain injuries and the risks associated with them can be managed in partnership with ACC experts - informing diagnosis, guiding recovery, providing education, clearance for Return and coordinating rehabilitation for slow-to-recover or chronic post-concussion disorders.

ACC’s interdisciplinary team provides the full spectrum of services, from baseline to Return, according to best practice standards; coordinating care and supporting physicians in achieving complete recoveries for their patients in the most efficient time periods.
